Wide Base Super Single Permit
This permit allows for increased super single tire weight allowances and must be purchased prior to entering the Northwest Territories.

Permit rules
- Units must be equipped with size 455 single wide tires. The truck tractor units can be single wide tires or duel tires.
- Units can operate at equivalent weight as dual tire units, same weight and same axle spreads:
- Single axle
- 9100 kgs
- Tandem axle
- 1.2m to < 3.0m – 17000 kgs
- Tridem axle
- 2.4m to <3.0m – 21000 kgs
- 3.0m to <3.7m – 24000 kgs
